About the Role

Nur Nil is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Health & Safety Responsible to oversee and manage workplace health and safety protocols at our Sadat production site. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, legally compliant, and well-monitored working environment for all employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enforcing safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of continuous safety improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and improve the factory’s health and safety policies in alignment with Egyptian labor law, ISO 45001 standards, and Nur Nil’s internal safety framework
• Conduct routine risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety inspections across production and storage areas
• Ensure proper use and availability of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other safety-related materials
• Lead incident investigations, record near-misses, and report any workplace accidents with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to workers and supervisors
• Coordinate with external auditors, local authorities, and emergency services when required
• Maintain documentation, including training records, inspection logs, and safety data sheets (SDS)
• Monitor the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in accordance with company policy and environmental standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in textile or manufacturing sectors
• Working knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law 12/2003, fire safety regulations, and ISO 45001 systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
• Ability to lead safety drills, inspections, and training sessions confidently
• Professional certification in health and safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, or local equivalent) is a plus
• Familiarity with MS Office and digital reporting systems
