Nur Tekstil was established in Turkey in 1987 as a manufacturer and exporter of institutional textiles especially for hospitality and hotel sectors. Then Nur-Nil Tekstil was established in Egypt in 2008.
With international expansions both in Turkey and Egypt, today, Nur-Nil Tekstil stands as one of the top players in Egypt in hotel and hospitality textile products in terms of capacity, ranges and distinction.

Nur Nil holds the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, one of the most respected certifications for textile safety worldwide. This certification verifies that our products are thoroughly tested for harmful substances and are safe for direct contact with human skin.

By complying with this globally standardized system, we offer assurance to our customers that every component of our textiles—from yarns and dyes to trims and finishes—meets stringent human and ecological safety criteria. It is a crucial quality marker for clients operating in health-conscious, retail, and hospitality sectors.

In Progress: OEKO-TEX® STeP & MADE IN GREEN

In line with our long-term sustainability roadmap, Nur Nil is currently in the application process for two of OEKO-TEX®'s most advanced certifications:

OEKO-TEX® STeP (Sustainable Textile & Leather Production)

STeP evaluates the environmental, social, and chemical performance of production facilities. It covers six key modules: chemical management, environmental performance, environmental management, social responsibility, quality management, and workplace safety.

This facility-level certification enables us to communicate transparently about the sustainability of our operations and supports strategic improvements in line with global best practices.

MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX®

Once OEKO-TEX® STeP certification is achieved, Nur Nil products will become eligible for the MADE IN GREEN label—a consumer-facing certification that ensures textiles are:

Produced using sustainable processes
Tested for harmful substances (STANDARD 100 compliance)
Manufactured in socially responsible, STeP-certified facilities

This label includes a unique product ID and QR code that enables full transparency and traceability—allowing consumers and partners to verify every step of the production journey.
